More Information on Escada S perfume
Why does Escada S perfume contain alcohol?
Alcohol makes the fragrance emanate from your skin. Without alcohol, you would be the only person who knew you were wearing any fragrance at all.
How can I keep my bottle of Escada S perfume from going bad?
Keep all fragrance in a cool, dry area, and away from windows as sunlight can unbalance the various ingredients. An opened bottle of Escada S perfume should be kept in its box to
insure a longer shelf life.
How can I make my bottle of Escada S perfume last longer?
Escada S perfume lasts longer on some people than on others because of differences in our skin (oily or dry) and in our PH levels.
To achieve a longer effect, try layering your fragrance. Using the fragrance bath gel, (if the company offers one), then the moisturizer or powder,
and then the Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum or Eau de Cologne, will usually have a longer lasting effect.
Also, apply your fragrance low on the body, as well as behind your ears and on your neck, so that the scent rises and you will not lose it as quickly.
A light spray on the hair can last all day.
Why do Escada S perfume smell different on different people?
Your own body chemistry affects how differerent notes react on your skin. Anything that affects the "natural" smell of your skin, such as stress,
hormonal changes, your current diet might change how a perfume smells on you.
Escada - Designer History
Named after a racehorse, fashion house and fragrance pioneer Escada was launched in 1976 by Wolfgang Ley (born in 1937 in the U.S.) and his wife, Margaretha (born in Sweden in 1933). The two met while skiing in St. Moritz. Later, while visiting Portugal, Wolfgang and Margaretha placed a wager on a horse named Escada, which means ?staircase? in Portugese. In 1984, Escada received a major boost when Vogue magazine featured a 16-page spread on the company?s apparel line. Margarethe Ley was the chief designer for the group until her death in 1992 at age 59.
