More Information on Chloe New perfume
Why does Chloe New perfume contain alcohol?
Alcohol makes the fragrance emanate from your skin. Without alcohol, you would be the only person who knew you were wearing any fragrance at all.
How can I keep my bottle of Chloe New perfume from going bad?
Keep all fragrance in a cool, dry area, and away from windows as sunlight can unbalance the various ingredients. An opened bottle of Chloe New perfume should be kept in its box to
insure a longer shelf life.
How can I make my bottle of Chloe New perfume last longer?
Chloe New perfume lasts longer on some people than on others because of differences in our skin (oily or dry) and in our PH levels.
To achieve a longer effect, try layering your fragrance. Using the fragrance bath gel, (if the company offers one), then the moisturizer or powder,
and then the Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum or Eau de Cologne, will usually have a longer lasting effect.
Also, apply your fragrance low on the body, as well as behind your ears and on your neck, so that the scent rises and you will not lose it as quickly.
A light spray on the hair can last all day.
Why do Chloe New perfume smell different on different people?
Your own body chemistry affects how differerent notes react on your skin. Anything that affects the "natural" smell of your skin, such as stress,
hormonal changes, your current diet might change how a perfume smells on you.
Chloe - Designer History
Founded in Paris in 1952 by Egyptian-born Gaby Aghion, luxury fashion house Chloé has always represented a freewheeling bohemian spirit. Rejecting the stiff formality of 1950s fashion, Aghion created soft, body-conscious clothes from fine fabrics and called them "luxury prêt-à-porter." Unique for their time, they were beautifully made clothes available off the rack. In 1956, Aghion and her business partner, Jaques Lenior debuted the first collection over breakfast at Cafe De Flore. They chose the name, "Chloé," for its warm, feminine appeal. In 1966, Karl Lagerfeld became the house's head designer, and under his direction Chloé became one of the most iconic fashion brands of the 1970's. Jackie Onassis, Brigitte Bardot, Maria Callas and Grace Kelly all came to Chloé's boutique in search of luxurious daywear.
Chloé was purchased by the luxury goods conglomerate Richemont Group in 1985. In October, 2006, Paulo Melim Andersson was appointed chief designer at Chloé. Today, just as Grace Kelly and Maria Callas did before them, young stars such as Kirsten Dunst, Natalie Portman, and Lou Doillon have fallen in love with the soft elegance of the French design house. More than 50 years after Gaby Aghion imagined it, Chloé's vision of romantic, ultra-feminine fashion lives on.
Chloe - Fragrance History
Launched by the design house in 1975, Chloé Perfume is classified as a flowery fragrance. The feminine scent possesses a blend of honeysuckle, jasmine and orange flowers. Other scents include Narcisse De Chloé Perfume for Women, launched in 1992. Karl Lagerfeld introduced Chloé Innocence perfume in 1996. Additionally, Coty, Inc., which picked up the Chloé license with its acquisition of Unilever's fragrance brands in 2005, has announced that they intend to launch a new Chloé women's fragrance for February 2008.
