Old Spice cologne lasts longer on some people than on others because of differences in our skin (oily or dry) and in our PH levels.
To achieve a longer effect, try layering your fragrance. Using the fragrance bath gel, (if the company offers one), then the moisturizer or powder,
and then the Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum or Eau de Cologne, will usually have a longer lasting effect.
Also, apply your fragrance low on the body, as well as behind your ears and on your neck, so that the scent rises and you will not lose it as quickly.
A light spray on the hair can last all day.

Shulton - Designer History
William Lightfoot Schultz began his company, Shulton, in 1934 with a soap-making and toiletries background. His company began during the Depression, and succeeded partly due to his ability to convince a landlord and suppliers to give him workspace and materials with a promise to pay later. Luckily, his ideas were a sensation, and by 1938 he had huge year-end company sales. Schultz?s son George would take over the company after ailing health forced Schultz to give up his responsibilities. Schultz died in 1950, the same year that total sales hit $10 million.
In 1990, Shulton was purchased by Proctor and Gamble, who worked on expanding the brand and maintaining its position as the #1 antiperspirant/ deodorant and body wash brand in the United States.
Shulton - Perfume History
In 1937 Shulton launched its first fragrance Early American Old Spice for women, a blend of rose, cloves, herbs, and spices inspired by a rose jar his mother used to keep. Early American Old Spice was developed around a colonial theme. Men?s fragrances include Old Spice, introduced in 1937, the classic scent of citrus, flowers, and vanilla which was, and Old Spice Whitewater. With the launch of Old Spice, Schultz wanted to keep the colonial theme but also wanted a nautical touch, so he incorporated the colonial sail boat which has endured as a lasting trademark to this day. The original ships used on the packaging were the Friendship and the Grand Turk. Other ships used on Old Spice packaging include the Birmingham, Salem Wesley, and Hamilton. In the 1970?s Blues Jeans perfume by Shulton was introduced, although this fragrance has been discountinued, there is still a large demand for it.
Old Spice evolved into a full grooming line for men that included the multiple scents in the High Endurance and Red Zone lines, offering products such as deodorant, body wash, shampoo, and shaving essentials. Shulton product s have been sold in almost 80 countries worldwide. Old Spice is now the No. 1 antiperspirant/deodorant stick and body wash brand in the United States.
