More Information on Lolita Lempicka cologne
Why does Lolita Lempicka cologne contain alcohol?
Alcohol makes the fragrance emanate from your skin. Without alcohol, you would be the only person who knew you were wearing any fragrance at all.
How can I keep my bottle of Lolita Lempicka cologne from going bad?
Keep all fragrance in a cool, dry area, and away from windows as sunlight can unbalance the various ingredients. An opened bottle of Lolita Lempicka cologne should be kept in its box to
insure a longer shelf life.
How can I make my bottle of Lolita Lempicka cologne last longer?
Lolita Lempicka cologne lasts longer on some people than on others because of differences in our skin (oily or dry) and in our PH levels.
To achieve a longer effect, try layering your fragrance. Using the fragrance bath gel, (if the company offers one), then the moisturizer or powder,
and then the Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum or Eau de Cologne, will usually have a longer lasting effect.
Also, apply your fragrance low on the body, as well as behind your ears and on your neck, so that the scent rises and you will not lose it as quickly.
A light spray on the hair can last all day.
Why do Lolita Lempicka cologne smell different on different people?
Your own body chemistry affects how differerent notes react on your skin. Anything that affects the "natural" smell of your skin, such as stress,
hormonal changes, your current diet might change how a perfume smells on you.
Lolita Lempicka - Designer History
Launched in 1983, fashion house Lolita Lempicka acquired its unique name when founders Josiane Pividal and her husband Joseph created their label as a dual tribute to Vladimir Nabokov?s famous novel, "Lolita," and to the Polish painter Tamara de Lempicka. The couple opened their first boutique in 1984, in the Marais district of Paris. Although Josiane's designs are often inspired by the 1940s, they always strike a playful balance between the modern and the nostalgic. She became famous for her exquisitely tailored suits, infusing classical Parisian styles with fresh femininity.
After the first boutique opened in 1984, Lolita Lempicka rapidly expanded into the international market, and in 1987 hired Kashiyama to direct their Japanese boutiques. In the same year they launched Lolita Bis, a junior line which they dedicated to their daughter, Elisa. The Lolita Lempicka design house is headquartered in Paris, France.
Lolita Lempicka - Fragrance History
In 1998, Lolita Lempicka the fragrance was launched. The perfume won Best Fragrance, awarded jointly by the Fragrance Foundation and the American FIFI. Even the packaging won an award- DCI?s Package of the Year for 1998. Described as the "fruit of our dreams," Lolita Lempicka is sold in an apple-shaped bottle with the Lempicka name engraved on it. Additionally, L de Lolita Lempicka Perfume for Women was launched in 2006, nine years after the first Lolita Lempicka Fragrance. The perfume comes in an aqua-blue pebble-shaped bottle created by designer Sylvie De France. Lolita Lempicka L is a fresh oriental fragrance, salty, sea-inspired notes. Men's fragrances include Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin cologne, launched in 2000.
