More Information on Fendi cologne
Why does Fendi cologne contain alcohol?
Alcohol makes the fragrance emanate from your skin. Without alcohol, you would be the only person who knew you were wearing any fragrance at all.
How can I keep my bottle of Fendi cologne from going bad?
Keep all fragrance in a cool, dry area, and away from windows as sunlight can unbalance the various ingredients. An opened bottle of Fendi cologne should be kept in its box to
insure a longer shelf life.
How can I make my bottle of Fendi cologne last longer?
Fendi cologne lasts longer on some people than on others because of differences in our skin (oily or dry) and in our PH levels.
To achieve a longer effect, try layering your fragrance. Using the fragrance bath gel, (if the company offers one), then the moisturizer or powder,
and then the Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum or Eau de Cologne, will usually have a longer lasting effect.
Also, apply your fragrance low on the body, as well as behind your ears and on your neck, so that the scent rises and you will not lose it as quickly.
A light spray on the hair can last all day.
Why do Fendi cologne smell different on different people?
Your own body chemistry affects how differerent notes react on your skin. Anything that affects the "natural" smell of your skin, such as stress,
hormonal changes, your current diet might change how a perfume smells on you.
Fendi - Designer History
Fashion house Fendi was started in Rome, Italy by a leather and fur shop owner named Adele Casagrande. When Adele married Edoardo Fendi in 1925, they made a decision to change the company name to Fendi. As the company continued to grow, each of Adele's five daughters joined the family business. Edoardo died in 1954, leaving the business solely in the hands of Adele and her daughters. In 1965, German designer Karl Lagerfeld joined Fendi. Lagerfeld created the inverted "FF" logo, which would eventually become a worldwide status symbol.
Today, Fendi is owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton S.A.Group. There are currently over 100 Fendi stores worldwide, with a flagship store on New York City's Fifth Avenue. Although their boutiques are scattered across the globe, Fendi remains faithfully stationed in Rome.
Fendi ? Perfume History
Fendi launched its first perfume, Fendi for Women, in 1985. The line has been expanded to Theorema Uomo and Fendi Uomo cologne for men, as well as Celebration and Fantasia perfumes for women. Fendi's fragrance division is set to unleash a new women's scent called Fendi Palazzo, in fall 2007. Other perfumes in the line include Fendi Life Essence and Fendi Donna.
